Outside IR35 contract – Functional Safety SW Functional Safety Engineer – Contract (Outside IR35) 6-Month Contract (initial) scope for 3-months of extensions. Primarily Remote | 1–2 Days Onsite (Guildford) Outside IR35.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Software Functional Safety Engineer to support activities aligned with ISO 26262 (Part 6) on a next generation British Automotive development.
Key Responsibilities:- Software safety analysis, including mathematical justification
- Demonstrating and assuring software safety compliance
- Development and analysis using C and MATLAB/Simulink
- Application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Supporting the functional safety lifecycle
- Strong experience in SW Functional Safety
- Proven knowledge of ISO 26262 (Part 6)
- Background in C and/or MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with safety-critical systems
