Day Rate: £325/day (OUTSIDE IR35)
Contract Length: 2 months (extendable)
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale application migration programme, moving 40–50 applications from a legacy data centre to Microsoft Azure and a private cloud environment.
- Coordinate and align four key stakeholder groups (two customer business units, and a third-party delivery partner) to ensure seamless execution.
- Drive programme governance, tracking progress against milestones, risks, and dependencies to meet strict decommissioning deadlines.
- Hold stakeholders accountable, proactively resolving blockers and managing complex interdependencies across teams.
- Adapt delivery plans and approaches in response to evolving customer needs within a regulated utilities environment.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering data centre to cloud migrations across public and/or private cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and manage multiple organisations simultaneously.
- Proven track record of operating effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced delivery environments with tight deadlines.
- High resilience and confidence in handling challenging conversations, escalations, and senior stakeholders.
- Self-sufficient, experienced professional who can quickly take ownership and “hit the ground running.”
- Eligibility for SC Clearance (active is nice to have).
