One our Cyber & IA consultancies are looking for a hands-on Principal Cyber Security Architect who will shape and lead secure technical solutions for high-profile Defence and Government programmes. This is a remote role with flexibility for travel across the UK, Europe, and occasionally globally required.

Principal Cyber Security Architect – Key Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture and assurance across full systems engineering lifecycle
• Guide clients on standards including NIST, CAF, CE, Secure by Design
• Own technical delivery + build trusted client relationships
• Work across multi-disciplinary teams to secure innovative systems
• Support pre-sales, tenders, and technical proposals
• Stay ahead of latest cyber developments through funded training & events

Principal Cyber Security Architect – Key Skills Required

• 7+ years client-facing technical security delivery (public sector ideal)
• Deep infrastructure experience (Windows, Linux, SQL)
• Knowledge of private/public cloud security
• Experience with JSP440, JSP604/453, accreditation & approvals
• Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles
• CISSP strongly desired; technical degree or equivalent
