A leading player in the energy trading and risk management sector, dedicated to providing innovative solutions to optimize energy trading operations and manage risk effectively are looking for a Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering cutting-edge ETRM solutions to clients worldwide. You\’ll play a pivotal role in delivering clients in this 12 month contract role, inside IR35.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead ETRM software implementation projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all project phases are executed with precision and in alignment with project goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and effectively communicating project progress, milestones, and challenges.
- Scope Management: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure that changes are managed through proper change control procedures.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, minimizing disruptions and maintaining project timeline and budget.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, manage team members\’ tasks, and facilitate effective collaboration among project team members.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of high-quality ETRM solutions, coordinating testing efforts and ensuring that the final deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, and project plans, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders
Project Manager Requirements:
- 5-7+ yrs working experience with Agile methodology
- Deep understanding of ETRM/CTRM tools, Endur, Allegro, etc.
- Exposure to and understanding of the UK power trading space in order to communicate effectively to stakeholders
- Ability to understand business problems and deal with challenging stakeholders
- Experience in Oil/LNG and varied commodities
