I’m working with a well-established UK engineering manufacturer that’s looking to add an Electronics Design Engineer to its Engineering & R&D team. This is a hands-on role focused on the design, simulation, testing, and development of high-power electronic systems used in demanding, safety-critical applications for a global customer base.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and developing inverter and rectifier systems
  • Taking concepts through to working prototypes
  • Hands-on testing, bring-up, fault-finding, and validation
  • Producing clear test reports and technical documentation
  • Creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
  • Supporting production implementation and continuous improvement

What they’re looking for:

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Experience with circuit design & simulation (SPICE, MATLAB, or similar)
  • Confident working hands-on with oscilloscopes, power analysers, and test equipment
  • Comfortable working safely with high voltage (up to 600V AC/DC) and high power systems
  • Organised, methodical approach to work
