A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager with a company based locally to Heathrow who specialises in the design and development of complex sensor technology and Electronics Hardware. The Engineering Manager will oversee the full product development from concept to production whilst managing a multiskilled team of 10 engineers, including Hardware, Software, and Mechanical, in an R&D Environment. This role will suit someone who has progressed through the ranks from hands-on engineer to management of multiskilled teams. Previous experience as either a hands-on Electronics Engineer or leading teams producing electronics based products is essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead on technical design and decision-making
  • Provide sales and customer support expertise
  • Build, coach, and inspire engineering teams
  • Champion innovation and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance and performance excellence

5+ Years of experience in Engineering management with a proven record leading multi-disciplined teams. Strong technical background in either Electronics or Physics. Experience within an R&D Environment. Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills. The company is based in a prime commuting location with easy access via train, the M4 corridor or London.
