Position: DevSecOps Engineer

Rate: £300/day Outside IR35

Location: Hybrid (London-based)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Contract Type: Outside IR35

About the Role:

A client of mine are seeking a skilled and proactive DevSecOps Engineer to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while maintaining a balanced hybrid working arrangement in the heart of London.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development, operations, and security, ensuring robust and scalable pipelines, infrastructure, and applications.

DevSecOps Engineer Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices across the software development lifecycle.

Automate security processes and infrastructure to improve efficiency.

Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.

Conduct regular security assessments, code reviews, and audits.

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging threats.

DevSecOps Engineer Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Expertise in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or similar).

Familiarity with security tools and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, SAST, DAST).

Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack).

Excellent understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or PCI DSS is a plus.
