X4 Technology are offering the opportunity for a Compliance Specialist to support an ongoing compliance program at a leading global trading firm. The role will involve close collaboration with senior compliance professionals and will focus on ensuring adherence to a comprehensive and effective global compliance framework.
The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for helping to develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and processes that ensure business activities comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Specialist:
- Assist with communications monitoring, including system maintenance, offering advice and guidance, and managing escalations as needed.
- Support trade surveillance activities, including system upkeep, investigations, and handling escalations.
- Provide ad-hoc compliance advice to various business units.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the internal training program, including both face-to-face and e-learning modules.
- Stay up to date on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business, providing timely updates to senior management and the executive committee as appropriate.
- Lead compliance-related IT projects, particularly focused on enhancing monitoring and surveillance systems.
- Collaborate with business teams based in multiple locations, including Singapore and London.
- Work closely with internal compliance teams and external partners to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory expectations.
