We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Manager to join a leading Fintech firm on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This role is responsible for leading the delivery and execution of high-impact product initiatives that create customer value and support strategic objectives.
You will take ownership of product development activities, including managing the product roadmap, pipeline, and backlog, while ensuring strong governance and documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will champion agile ways of working, deliver high-quality analysis, and use data-led insights to continuously improve product performance. The role also involves contributing to industry best practice through external engagement and applying those insights to enhance commercial outcomes, customer engagement, and organisational capability.
Key Responsibilities of the Product Manager include:
- Develop and coordinate detailed product plans
- Oversee delivery of product initiatives, balancing planned priorities with the ability to respond efficiently to unplanned work
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage product-related risks
- Support adherence to the product development lifecycle following delivery
- Enable effective knowledge transfer and identify learning and development needs where appropriate
- Represent the organisation at industry forums and events, including speaking engagements
- Provide general support to the wider team as required
Key Requirements of the Product Manager include:
- Significant experience managing stakeholders within the retail payments or financial services sector
- In-depth knowledge of financial services, payments, regulation, and product development practices
- Proven experience in market analysis, business case development, and evaluation of market trends and opportunities
- Ability to translate product concepts into practical, deliverable solutions
