We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our growing Water Design team in Birmingham. This is a senior technical leadership opportunity for an accomplished process engineer with strong expertise in water and wastewater treatment process design, optimisation, and multidisciplinary project delivery. The successful candidate will lead process engineering activities across a portfolio of municipal water and wastewater projects, including treatment plants, sludge treatment facilities, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure schemes. You will play a key role in technical leadership, client engagement, team development, and successful project delivery from concept through commissioning. This role is ideal for a motivated engineering professional looking to influence major infrastructure projects while supporting the continued growth of a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver process engineering design across all project phases, from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design, commissioning, and operational support.
  • Provide technical leadership in the design and optimisation of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Develop and review: Process calculations, Mass balances, Hydraulic calculations, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
