An established and growing medical communications agency is looking for an experienced Principal / Senior Medical Writer to join their scientific team. This is a great opportunity for a confident writer who enjoys working across multiple therapy areas, partnering closely with clients, and helping shape high-quality scientific communications. You’ll take a leading role on projects, mentor junior writers, and contribute to strategic discussions across accounts.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the development of high-quality scientific and medical communications materials
- Translating complex clinical and scientific data into clear, engaging content for healthcare audiences
- Acting as a key scientific contact for clients and external experts
- Reviewing and quality-checking work from colleagues and freelancers
- Mentoring and supporting the development of junior writers
- Contributing to account strategy, project planning, and timelines
- Participating in client meetings and scientific discussions

- Experience in medical writing within a medical communications / healthcare communications agency
- Strong scientific writing and data interpretation skills
- Experience developing a range of medical communications deliverables
