I'm working with a leading independent HVAC commissioning provider within the mechanical services industry, who are looking for a HVAC Commissioning Engineer to support on various projects across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out on-site testing and balancing of air and water distribution systems.
  • Work as part of the on-site commissioning team to support project delivery.
  • Review HVAC drawings and prepare commissioning plans, test reports, and associated documentation.
  • Monitor and track commissioning progress, including managing defects and actions.
  • Ensure all testing and reporting is completed in line with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues arising during air and water balancing activities.
  • Complete all commissioning documentation to a high and professional standard.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Several years’ experience in a similar HVAC commissioning role.
  • Demonstrated competency in air and water balancing, including BSRIA-compliant flushing.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical building services.
  • Confident interpreting HVAC drawings and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full, valid driver’s license.
