This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Writer who enjoys combining scientific excellence with strategic thinking.
The role offers the chance to work across a variety of therapy areas, creating high-quality medical content for both healthcare professionals and patients, while developing expertise in digital content strategy and search optimisation.

The Role
As part of a collaborative content team, you will
- Research a wide range of therapy areas to produce scientifically accurate, evidence-based content.
- Write engaging medical content for healthcare professionals, patients and the wider public.
- Work alongside digital strategy specialists to develop content aligned with modern search and content best practice.
- Support the development of content strategies through medical insight and scientific expertise.
- Review and quality check content produced by more junior team members, ensuring scientific accuracy and consistency.
- Manage multiple content projects while acting as a trusted point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead content discussions during client meetings and provide strategic recommendations where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard while supporting your own professional development.
About You
You'll ideally have
- A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or another relevant scientific discipline.
- Previous experience within a medical communications agency or healthcare communications environment.
- Strong medical writing experience across a range of deliverables
- The ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging content tailored to different audiences.
- Experience managing client review cycles and incorporating medical and client feedback.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An interest in digital healthcare communications
