Role Overview: Following a sustained period of strong growth, a leading specialist in Pharmaceutical Supply is expanding its commercial team to support the next phase of its development. The organisation is made up of ambitious, self-motivated professionals driven to deliver high-quality solutions and accelerate continued market expansion. This role is focused on the management and growth of established key client accounts within the clinical trial supply environment. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring the successful delivery of clinical trial supply projects while driving revenue and gross profit growth across existing accounts. The position is commercially accountable and client-facing, with a strong emphasis on relationship management, service delivery, and cross-functional coordination within complex, multi-stakeholder clinical trial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key clinical trial supply client accounts
- Act as the lead contact for all client-related matters and study requirements
- Deliver revenue and gross profit growth across assigned accounts
- Support and oversee the delivery of clinical trial supply projects to agreed specifications
- Maintain accurate project and commercial records within internal ERP systems
- Develop, track, and report on client KPIs and account health
- Lead and participate in regular client meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Address client complaints promptly in line with documented procedures
- Ensure service levels are consistently met and monitored
- Lead global sourcing activities using approved supplier networks
- Negotiate product pricing, payment terms, and product access
- Coordinate with logistics providers to support global shipment and delivery of study materials
- Build strong working relationships across internal teams and external partners
- Contribute ideas to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Operate in accordance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain knowledge of products, markets, and clinical trial supply practices
