We are recruiting for a hands-on Assembly Technician / Production Operative to join a growing engineering and manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with practical mechanical or production experience who enjoy working in a structured, quality-focused environment.

The role involves assembling technical equipment and components using digital work instructions, hand tools and power tools, while working closely with team leaders and engineering teams to ensure high build standards. You will be based near Epsom for this contract and it has been assessed as OUTSIDE IR35.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble products and components in line with digital work instructions and quality standards
  • Prepare and organise parts and materials for production builds
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly, including torque tools where required
  • Route and secure wiring and mechanical assemblies neatly and accurately
  • Identify and report any build or assembly issues to supervisors or engineers
  • Follow health safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
