A leading IT consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Storage Consultant to support the delivery of enterprise infrastructure solutions for a high-profile client engagement. This is an initial 3-month contract (outside IR35) with an immediate start, ideally suited to a hands-on consultant with deep expertise in Dell EMC storage, data protection, and virtualisation technologies.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and migration of complex storage and backup solutions across enterprise environments. Working as part of a highly skilled delivery team, they will ensure solutions are deployed efficiently, securely, and with minimal disruption to business operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design and implementation of enterprise storage solutions
- Delivering complex data migrations with minimal downtime
- Implementing backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions
- Supporting multi-site and global infrastructure deployments
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and resilient architectures
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Dell EMC storage platforms (PowerStore, Unity, PowerScale/Isilon, VNX)
- Proven expertise in data protection technologies (Avamar, Data Domain, RecoverPoint)
- Solid experience with VMware virtualisation (VCP desirable)
- Experience with Nutanix HCI platforms
- Strong knowledge of SAN technologies (Brocade and Cisco MDS)
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure projects
Requirements
- Active SC or DV clearance desirable, or eligibility to obtain clearance
- Available for an immediate start
- Willingness to travel as required
