About the Role
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of custom automation solutions, working on highly specialised machinery built to tight tolerances and unique client specifications. This is a hands-on role covering the full lifecycle—from design and programming through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement PLC control systems for bespoke machinery
- Develop and configure SCADA and HMI systems for operator control and monitoring
- Work closely with mechanical and electrical teams on custom-built, high-precision equipment
- Produce and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC panel layouts
- Carry out system testing, debugging, and on-site commissioning
- Support continuous improvement of control systems for performance and reliability
- Provide documentation and technical support as required
