I'm currently partnering with a respected Building Services consultancy that is looking to appoint an Associate Electrical Engineer to join its expanding London team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to take on a leadership role, overseeing the delivery of complex projects, managing key client relationships, and supporting the development of a growing engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design and delivery of building services projects from concept through to completion.
- Prepare and review technical calculations, specifications, reports, and design documentation.
- Act as the main technical point of contact for clients, attending design and project meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Help strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for future business.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Strong background in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment.
- In-depth knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations, and current industry practices.
- Experience using software such as Revit, Amtech, Dialux/Relux, and Microsoft Office.
- Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards Chartership with CIBSE or IET, is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
