Are you a seasoned Solution Architect ready to make a real impact? We’re partnering with a global leader in the energy sector, driving innovation at the forefront of the energy transition, to find an expert to join their team on a 12-month contract (with likely extension). Rate : £900 per day (via umbrella company) Location : Central London – 2 days per week onsite Duration : 12 months (likely extension) Start Date : Immediate About the Role As a Solution Architect, you will: Design and deliver all aspects of solution architecture across cloud, data, integration, and security. Ensure solutions are innovative, scalable, and aligned with the company’s standards and reference architectures. Provide end-to-end accountability for the architecture of IT projects. Address and integrate aspects of Business Process, Data, Application/Cloud, Technical, and Information Security. Document architectures using BizzDesign/ArchiMate and contribute to maintaining Reference Models. Leverage the latest IT technology developments to architect future-proof solutions that support the energy transition. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive architecture improvements and strategic initiatives. Required Skills & Experience We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in solution architecture, coupled with the following expertise: Technical Expertise : Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with significant time spent in solution architecture roles. Deep hands-on experience with Azure Cloud technologies. Strong proficiency in ReactJS, NodeJS, Microservices, Kubernetes, and GraphQL. In-depth knowledge of data architecture, including the ability to design scalable and robust data solutions. Proven experience in building secure and reliable architectures that integrate cloud, data, and application layers. Proficiency in using BizzDesign and ArchiMate for architecture modeling and documentation (preferred). Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
