Your role
We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent maintenance skills, who can work independently and has a βcan doβ attitude to work and able to work well with other members of our maintenance team. This position would suit a multi-skilled person with excellent communication skills. Crucial for this role is to be able to confidently work on IT systems such as using an electronic diary and in-house maintenance systems (training to be provided).
- Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service to the tenants and landlords of the X1 properties.
- Work closely with our Property Managers to resolve reported issues inside the apartments in a timely manner.
- Skilled at DIY & general maintenance for example; tiling, basic plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating, basic electrical works.
- Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment and potential hazards.
- Liaising with property managers daily to ensure that all scheduled jobs are completed and the property managers are provided with regular updates.
- Using in-house systems.
- Keep an inventory and monthly audit of all maintenance tools and equipment.
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner and ensuring maintenance cards are left after every job attended to.

- Building maintenance skills - painting, decorating, joinery and plumbing.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills as this will be a tenant-facing role.
