You will manage each job from appointment booking through to completion. This will include contacting leaseholders, residents and letting agents, arranging access, completing the required work and providing clear job completion reports.

The role will be based in Manchester, working across our managed residential buildings. As our portfolio covers both Manchester and Liverpool, you will also be required to work in Liverpool for periods of the year when needed. You will be expected to plan your workload effectively, keep the management team informed of progress and ensure that work areas are left clean, secure and tidy.

Role requirements

  • Review fire-door inspection reports and complete the specified repairs or replacements.

You must be able to interpret inspection reports, specifications and manufacturer instructions, undertake accurate site measurements and identify the materials required for each job. You will also need to recognise when specialist advice or further approval is required before work can proceed.

You must be comfortable working independently and using digital systems to record work, upload photographs and prepare completion reports.

Experience working within a third-party certified fire-door installation and maintenance company, such as one operating under FIRAS or BM TRADA Q-Mark, would be advantageous.
