We are seeking a motivated and talented DevOps Engineer (Mid Level) to join the MACH team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge in cloud native infrastructure while working on exciting projects.
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
- Assume technical responsibility for the provision and further development of Platform Services.
- Support the MACH Hybrid Integration platform (Medical Application Connection Hub) for our global clients.
- Be involved in design, architecture, standardisation and automation of Kubernetes-based solutions.
- Engage in customer and internal development.
The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer is a key member of the DevOps Team working in collaboration with our Development and Operations Teams to ensure that the MACH platform is delivered on time and to our customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Subject excellence in the respective field (DevOps or Platform Engineering) – 3–5 years.
- Proficiency in Collaboration Tools (e.g., Webex, Slack, Microsoft Teams).
- Working knowledge of modern observability solutions (Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Working knowledge of server administration (Windows, Linux).
- Hands-on experience of container technologies and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Infrastructure and Code Security Awareness.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), including branching strategies and merge workflows.
- Working knowledge of SQL/databases.
- Solution orientated - Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset in dynamic, agile environments.
- Communication Skills: Written and oral. Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in healthcare IT, or familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or DICOM standards.
- Exposure to identity and access management (e.g. Keycloak, OAuth2, SSO).
- Experience with secrets management (e.g. Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
- Experience working with or building internal developer platforms (IDPs).
- Prior experience working with distributed/international teams.
- Industry certifications in AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform.
- Graduation in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
