We are seeking a motivated and talented DevOps Engineer (Mid Level) to join the MACH team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge in cloud native infrastructure while working on exciting projects. This role combines responsibility for both internal and customer facing DevOps within the overall MACH team, supporting the MACH Hybrid Integration platform (Medical Application Connection Hub) for our global clients.
Technical responsibility for DevOps:
- The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer is a key member of the DevOps Team working in collaboration with our Development and Operations Teams to ensure that the MACH platform is delivered on time and to our customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a high standard for the quality of their own work.
- Are proficient in DevOps best practice and how to adapt as required to the environment.
- Are customer service oriented and meet requirements to facilitate our internal knowledge base and exchange throughout the business units of x-tention Group.
- Work autonomously while effectively cooperating with a dynamic, agile team.
- Demonstrates technical curiosity, and is fascinated by software technology and its challenges.
Qualifications:
- Subject excellence in the respective field (DevOps or Platform Engineering) – 3–5 years.
- Working knowledge of server administration (Windows, Linux).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban).
- Working knowledge of SQL/databases.
- Solution orientated - Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset in dynamic, agile environments.
- Experience in healthcare IT, or familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or DICOM standards.
- Experience working with or building internal developer platforms (IDPs).
- Industry certifications in AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform.
- Graduation in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
