We are looking to hire a graduate degree / HND (or equivalent) electronics engineer to work in a small business who are developing and manufacturing high voltage generators, microfocus x-ray sources and their control electronics systems.
Must have:
- Experience with Digital & analogue & Power circuits
- Can hand solder & assemble electrical / electronic circuit boards
- Fault find electrical / electronic circuits to component level
- Be able to read and understand electronics schematics
- Experience with development / test & debugging tools, e.g. oscilloscopes, Multimeter, Power supplies, signal generators
- An interest in electronics & engineering
- A can-do attitude, be willing to learn, to research and teach themselves new skills and ways to do new things
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Be a good communicator
Product specific training will be given.
With experience, the right candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- To assemble and test the various electronic circuit boards and their sub-assemblies
- Be able to understand test procedures, perform the equipment setup and follow the test procedures through
- Working on existing and new designs
