Design, develop, and implement high-performance, scalable, and maintainable applications, services, and systems. Develop APIs and other web services. Work with databases (relational and NoSQL) to design and implement data models. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development through testing, deployment, and monitoring & alerting. Identify and improve development processes and practices to improve quality and cycle time. Coach and guide other members of the team. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Promote and demonstrate software engineering best practices and principles. Participate in architectural and design discussions. Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends. Assist with recruitment activities. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Identify and implement solutions designed to improve system security, performance, scalability, and reliability. Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Share ideas, prompting continuous improvement across the department. Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Comply with the company’s Health & Safety, Data Protection, Information Security, PCI & DSP policies and procedures.
