We are looking for a candidate with an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). We want strong analytical and problem-solving skills. We need someone confident in troubleshooting complex problems and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA). We value self-motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to manage time effectively. You should be able to prioritise requirements and multi-task. Experience or knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, Testrail, or Zephyr is desirable. Experience or knowledge of creating API calls with applications such as Bruno or Postman is desirable. A desire to learn, or some exposure to, automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium is desirable. Any experience using TypeScript and/or AI testing is desired but not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring software products are fully functional and fit for purpose for our customers through validation and verification.
- Collaborating with our QA and Development teams to own the quality of assigned features.
- Maintaining and updating our regression packs.
- Executing test runs and producing execution reports for key stakeholders.
- Creating test plans and test cases based on those plans.
- Reviewing test cases created by others and confirming they are written clearly in Gherkin format.
- Liaising with the QA lead and key stakeholders on defects raised.
- Monitoring recurring bugs to identify root cause analysis and support more permanent fixes.
- Applying risk management principles to each defect.
- Monitoring and guiding Graduate QAs in ISTQB practices.
- Complying with our Health & Safety, Data Protection, Information Security, PCI, and DSP policies and procedures.
