We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Test Analyst to join our ICT, Data and Digital team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys owning their work, shaping best practice, and helping colleagues deliver digital services that are reliable, user‑friendly and built around customer needs.
You’ll be the primary testing specialist in the organisation, working closely with others involved in testing but acting as the lead voice for structured test practice across the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Taking the lead on planning and delivering testing for new Salesforce functionality — designing test scripts, creating scenarios and coordinating business and user acceptance testing.
- Working independently to manage testing activities across continuous improvement work, maintaining automated scripts and proactively identifying issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Testing key business systems, including our housing and finance platforms, ensuring they’re performing reliably and supporting colleagues effectively.
- Setting up and owning automated testing tools, developing efficient testing processes that can be used consistently throughout the business.
- Translating user requirements into practical, clear test plans that support smooth, well‑structured delivery.
- Overseeing regression testing to ensure updates don’t impact existing functionality.
- Collaborating with developers, business analysts, transformation colleagues and partners; communicating clearly, sharing insight and ensuring testing outcomes support good decision‑making.
- Producing clear documentation of test results and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, openness and shared learning.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience building and working through detailed test scripts, ideally within projects involving multiple teams.
- Confidence using a range of testing tools, including automated solutions, and the ability to work effectively in iterative or agile environments.
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain testing outcomes to both technical and non‑technical colleagues, building trust and supporting good teamwork.
- A proactive, practical approach to problem‑solving, with pride in getting things right and keeping processes simple and reliable.
- The ability to work independently, taking ownership of testing activity, managing your workload, and setting the standard for structured test practice across the organisation.
- A collaborative mindset, sharing knowledge and supporting others while confidently leading the testing approach.
Desirable:
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent, agile certifications, and experience with Salesforce testing tools such as Copado or AccelQ.
