Project Support Officer in Chatburn

Make a real difference to disability inclusion in Wythenshawe. We're looking for a passionate and organised Project Support Officer to help deliver the Wythenshawe Enabled Programme - an innovative, grant-funded initiative designed with and for disabled residents. This is an exciting opportunity to support a programme that empowers disabled residents to influence decisions, develop community leadership skills and help shape more accessible and inclusive services across Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG).

Working closely with residents, community organisations, volunteers and colleagues, you'll help coordinate activities, events and partnerships, ensuring disabled residents are at the heart of decision-making. You'll also support monitoring and evaluation, helping demonstrate the impact the programme is having across our communities.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating programme activities, events and resident engagement opportunities.
• Supporting meaningful co-production and involvement with disabled residents.
• Working alongside local voluntary and community sector partners to deliver shared outcomes.
• Maintaining project plans, action logs, risk registers and performance reporting.
• Organising accessible meetings, workshops, training sessions and community events.
• Supporting and helping moderate the programme's digital community.
• Gathering feedback, monitoring KPIs and producing reports for funders and stakeholders.
• Helping identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on resident feedback and learning.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a project support, coordination or community engagement role.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
• Strong communication and administration skills.
• Confidence using digital tools and analysing information.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

We’re also keen to hear from individuals who have some experience of working with disabled people, supporting volunteers, delivering community engagement activities, or have lived experience and understanding of the barriers disabled people can face.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a basic DBS check due to the nature of the role and contact with residents.
