We are seeking a Regional Manager to lead our Manchester operation, overseeing regional performance, client delivery, team leadership, and commercial outcomes. Our Manchester region is a key strategic location, delivering multiple projects simultaneously for a diverse portfolio of clients. Our teams include Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and mobile multi-site Electrical Operatives who deliver high-quality service on-site and from the depot.
This is a senior operational role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. While an electrical background is not essential, proven experience running and improving the performance of an operational business, with strong commercial awareness, is critical.
About the Role
- Key Responsibilities
- Regional Leadership & Operations
- Lead the Manchester depot, ensuring high operational standards across all projects.
- Oversee resource planning, workforce deployment, and project delivery performance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and company standards.
- Drive the region’s profitability, ensuring commercial targets are met.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement performance enhancements.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team including Contracts Managers, QSs, Business Development and Bid Teams.
- Foster a positive, accountable, team-focused culture.
- Lead recruitment, performance management, coaching, and development.
- Ensure excellent client service across all regional projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve operational challenges proactively and professionally.

Requirements
