As we continue an exciting period of growth, we’re looking for an exceptional Marketing Director to join our senior leadership team, helping to set and deliver the long-term growth strategy.

Role

As the Marketing Director, you will design and execute an omnichannel marketing strategy. Working closely with the CEO and founder, you will deliver an elevated, consistent, and recognisable brand experience across all touchpoints, aligned with our brand. A critical focus of this role is leading a strategic transition. You will pivot our go to market approach from daily product drops and 'coming soon' teasers to story-led, structured product launches, creating campaigns that work across all channels – DTC, retail, social (organic & paid), e-mail etc. You will be responsible for looking after our existing and very loyal community and acquiring new Wyse women to ensure overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy, Budgeting & Profitable Growth
    • Strategic Growth: Work closely with the CEO, FD and Head of Trading to set and implement the overarching marketing strategy to scale reach, engagement, and long-term revenue via existing and new customers.
    • Commercial Alignment: Work directly with the CEO and FD to set, manage, and own the annual marketing budget, ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI).
    • Strategic Evolutions: Work cross-functionally to evolve the marketing strategy from daily product launches and coming soon communications to story-driven, seasonal, product led campaigns.
  • Strengthening the brand internally & externally
    • PR strategy: Working with external PR agency to create awareness in the market, aligned with brand pillars and campaigns.
    • Brand Consistency: Work with the founder and existing brand creatives to establish/define and maintain how Wyse shows up in the world via visual and Tone of Voice (TOV) guidelines.
    • Elevated Experience: Deliver a polished, premium, and instantly recognizable brand aesthetic to both existing and new customers driving inherent value in the Wyse brand.
    • Campaign & Content Planning: Structure internal team processes to create elevated and engaging campaigns (product led, trading or to strengthen brand pillars) via marketing & content calendars. Own the briefing process and drive the creative responses, ensuring they deliver against the brief and for our customers (existing and new).
    • Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify and execute high-impact brand collaborations and strategic partnerships to expand market reach and surprise & delight our community of Wyse women.
  • Performance marketing
    • Own customer retention & acquisition: Drive profitable customer acquisition and retention across paid marketing channels.
    • Channel Management: Oversee and optimise Meta, Google, Affiliates, SEO, and PR strategies to maximise brand awareness, ultimately driving conversion. Always on testing for next routes to growth – where will we find our next Wyse women.
    • Retention Marketing: Design and execute a robust CRM and loyalty strategy to increase customer lifetime value (LTV). Review email as a revenue and retention channel, optimising content, timing and regularity of email sends and all flows. Constant test & learn. Ensure print contacts are reviewed in line with other marketing channels and reviewed regularly using sound data.
  • Social, Community & Influencer Engagement
    • Social planning & reporting: Oversee organic & paid content channels, ensuring they are aligned or leading on brand campaigns and messaging. Creating reach and awareness.
    • Influencer Strategy: Build and scale a highly effective influencer/ambassador marketing framework to drive brand loyalty, advocacy and awareness.
    • Community Management: Nurture the brand's community, fostering deep connection, engagement, and brand loyalty across social platforms.
  • Customer Experience
    • DTC & Retail Integration: Own the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring all touch points of the brand from social, DTC to retail feel consistent and recognisable.
    • Site experience: Work closely with the Head of Trade to optimise site conversion rates, drive AOV and IPO. Input into the development roadmap, ensuring the customer journey is optimised.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven Leadership: Substantial experience leading marketing departments within a retail or consumer brand environment.
  • Growth Record: A track record of successfully scaling performance channels (Meta, Google, affiliates), organic strategies (SEO, PR) and finding/testing new routes to growth (for example TT, YouTube, OOH).
  • Change Management: Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic shifts, working as part of a senior leadership team.
  • Technical & Data Literacy: Familiarity with marketing models (MMM, attribution), site analytics and building data-driven CRM strategies.
