Wyre Council has an excellent track record of providing fantastic opportunities to Apprentices and Graduates and we have an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a career in accountancy to join our Finance team.
Gaining valuable experience while working towards a fully funded CIPFA qualification, the successful candidate will provide financial business support in a developing role, including assisting in the production of management accounts, budgeting, final accounts, treasury management, and capital projects and to assist wider teams across the organisation.
With a degree or AAT Level 4 qualification, the successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and be able to maintain the highest degree of accuracy and integrity of financial information. The ability to work as part of a team is essential and you must be willing to study for full CIPFA qualification.
