The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
A highly organised and enthusiastic individual is required to provide administrative and technical support to the Building Control Team. This is a varied and interesting role involving a wide range of duties including checking the validity of submitted Building Regulations applications and fees, taking telephone payments, dealing with customers over the telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries from service users.
The successful candidate will support the Local Authority’s readiness for the implementation of the new Building Safety Levy processes, and the administration of this when it launches in Autumn 2026. The successful candidate will have:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent IT skills and proven extensive administrative experience
- Clear, professional communication skills – both written and verbal
- The ability to interpret and apply guidance and regulations
