In order to strengthen our Development Management Team, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Planning Technical Support Officer to support the delivery of an efficient and effective Planning Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initial processing and validation of planning applications.
- Operating the Council’s electronic document management and back office computer systems.
- Advising members of the public on Planning related matters.
- Performing general administrative duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in planning is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Good communication, IT, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and flexibility in task completion.
