Are you organised, customer-focused, and passionate about supporting people and processes? We’re looking for a proactive Human Resources Administrator to join our friendly HR & OD team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working with people, and playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the council’s HR operations.
About the Role
As our Human Resources Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support across the HR function, ensuring our people processes run efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the full recruitment and selection cycle, including providing advice, supporting new starter inductions, and processing internal changes.
- Support the operation and development of HR systems.
- Process changes to pay and conditions, record temporary appointments, probation reviews and other employment changes.
- Assist with work experience and government scheme placements.
About You
- Has a good general level of education.
- Can deal confidently with customers both in person and by phone.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Has excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
