Wynnstay Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Agricultural Store Manager to lead our busy Tregaron Store, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service for our valued farmer customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the helm of a well-established and respected store at the heart of a rural community. Responsibilities

  • Taking overall responsibility for the store, including the performance of its team, stock management, and operational efficiency.
  • Driving sales growth by retaining and expanding the customer base, maximising product sales through proactive selling and customer engagement.
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service is consistently delivered, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and actively developing new business opportunities.
  • Providing clear leadership, support, and ongoing development to store staff, fostering a motivated and high-performing team culture.
  • Ensuring the store is well-stocked, well-merchandised, and always maintained to a professional standard.
  • Completing regular stocktakes accurately and within the specified timeframe.
  • Implementing and participating in promotional campaigns.
  • Conducting colleague reviews to assess training needs and build career development paths.
  • Managing and resolving customer or staff issues with professionalism and confidence.
  • Taking responsibility for Health & Safety on site.
  • Ensuring compliance with Wynnstay policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining effective communication with key internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business objectives.

What we’re looking for

  • Commercial and practical awareness of the agricultural industry and the competitive landscape (preferred).
  • Enthusiastic, hungry, and actively seeking new opportunities through various initiatives.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and has strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others.
  • Effective communicator and resourceful in solving problems.
  • Experience with computers and basic software packages.
  • Knowledge of the regulations surrounding portfolio of products sold.
  • Aware of Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • Amtra SQP/RAMA qualified (training will be provided).
  • Basis Storekeeper qualified (training will be provided).
