A small direct marketing company based in Putney is looking for a perfectionist to help manage a variety of direct marketing campaigns, focusing on direct-mail (postal), subscription magazine production and management, and television and newspaper advertising. There will also be a large element of data entry, data analysis and general business administration involved. You need to be a highly organized and self-motivated individual who can work autonomously in a quiet office.

Essential requirements as the Direct Marketing Executive:

  • 2 years experience in a business type role
  • Excellent written English required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • A good understanding of numbers and statistics

The Job Role as the Direct Marketing Executive:

  • Creating and proof reading adverts, magazines and other promotional material. Involves providing clear instructions to graphic designers.
  • Collating promotion results: data entry, numeric analysis and statistics.
  • Coordinating direct marketing campaigns with suppliers including designers, print houses, customer services and various other marketing agencies.
  • Scheduling magazine print and dispatch for thousands of customers with different subscriptions and dispatch dates.
  • General admin e.g. data input, checking and processing invoices.

Hours: Flexible, but ideally 9am-3pm Mon-Fri (30 hours). Can work from home one day per week. Potential for the position to become full-time should you desire.

Salary: Initially £28,000-£34,000 (pro rata).

Start date: Flexible.
