Wynne Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Enterprise Account Manager to join our growing software sales team! Reporting to the US-based Sales Manager, this role is responsible for managing and developing business for specific Enterprise Accounts, including both Net New customers and Back-to-Base (existing accounts). Our focus is on large, enterprise-level accounts in the Plant Hire, Equipment Hire, and Construction sectors, with particular attention to businesses involved in plant hire and operated plant hire (equipment supplied with an operator).
Key Responsibilities
- Pursue both marketing-provided leads and engage in proactive business development to target specific, named accounts.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customers' current and future needs by identifying their business challenges and offering tailored solutions.
- Manage complex sales cycles with a focus on long-term client partnerships.
- Navigate organisational structures within target accounts to identify relevant influencers and decision-makers.
- Organise and manage your workload effectively to exceed sales metrics, with accurate revenue forecasting in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Marketing to build a strategically viable pipeline and focus on Account-Based Marketing (ABM) to target key customers.
- Use value-based selling techniques to highlight the core differentiators of Wynne Systems, clearly demonstrating the return on investment for client commitments.
- Lead on proposal development and strategy to win new business.
- Regular attendance at client sites, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops.
The Ideal Candidate
- Post-secondary education (degree level preferred).
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in Enterprise-level B2B technology sales.
- Experience working with Plant Hire or Operated Plant Hire organisations.
- Strong understanding of the hire, rental, or construction industries.
- Focused on growing existing accounts and increasing revenue in the enterprise segments of the hire and construction sectors.
- Demonstrated success selling to C-suite executives (CFOs, CTOs, CEOs).
- Skilled at influencing stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to senior decision-makers.
- Ability to motivate, educate, and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Expertise in applying structured sales methodologies to maximise revenue from every opportunity.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly and logically.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams to meet client requirements.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships and using industry insight to anticipate client needs.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated, organised, and innovative with a proactive mindset.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Proficiency in a second language (French, Spanish, German, or Italian).
- Experience with RentalMan or RentalResult software suites.
- Previous experience selling ERP systems.
Compensation
Compensation packages are tailored based on individual qualifications, experience, and skills. This position offers commission-based incentives.
Job Location
This is a remote position based in the UK. Regular travel across the UK, Europe and the US is required to attend client sites, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops.
