We are looking for a Civil structural engineering manager to head up the division, based in the North West of England.

About the Role

  • Responsible for engineering scope projects, studies, and bids, compliance, resource management and customer facing role.
  • Strong written communicator, presentation skills, project delivery, with BEng (Hons) in engineering (preferably Civil or Structural) and chartered (CEng) (ICE or IStructE).

Responsibilities

  • Head up the division.
  • Manage engineering scope projects.
  • Conduct studies and bids.
  • Ensure compliance.
  • Oversee resource management.
  • Engage in customer facing activities.

Qualifications

  • Chartered (CEng MIStructE) to be considered.
  • Minimum 12 years experience in the Civil/structural sector.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership position.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of construction & process industries.
  • Ability to use STAAD and TEKLA.
  • Experience of managing a complete team.
  • Bulk material handling experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Additional certifications in relevant fields.
  • Experience with project management software.
