We're recruiting a Territory Sales Manager (EMEA) for a well-established provider of industrial alarm management and operational intelligence software, helping organisations improve safety, compliance, and operational performance across critical industries.

Package: Β£70,000 to Β£75,000 Starting Salary, Β£30,000 Company Bonus

Location: Homebased in the U.K., 1 Week in 4 International Travel

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Sales & Revenue Growth: Deliver bookings and revenue targets for the assigned territory. Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company growth objectives. Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities through prospecting, marketing follow-up, and partner engagement. Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Channel & Partner Development: Identify and recruit new channel partners and system integrators within the territory. Develop productive relationships with existing partners to drive joint pipeline and revenue growth. Enable partners with product knowledge, positioning, and sales support where required.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at multiple organisational levels. Act as a trusted advisor to customers on alarm management, operational performance, and solutions. Expand existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Solution Sales & Market Development: Promote and sell software solutions and related services directly to end users and through partners. Translate customer operational challenges into viable software solutions. Provide input into solution design discussions alongside pre-sales or technical teams where required. Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and customer meetings.
  • Commercial & Contract Management: Lead commercial discussions and price negotiations within the approved delegation of authority. Ensure proposals and contracts meet both customer expectations and company commercial objectives. Maintain visibility and oversight of opportunities through to successful contract completion.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity records in the company CRM system. Produce regular pipeline and territory performance reports. Submit monthly sales activity and forecast reports in accordance with company standards.
  • Market Intelligence & Collaboration: Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and competitive trends. Provide feedback from customers and partners to Product Management to inform future product development. Work closely with Marketing to maximise the effectiveness of campaigns, events, and lead generation activities. Collaborate with internal teams including Pre-Sales, Services, and Customer Success to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of proven success in technical or solution-based sales within automation, industrial software, analytics, or related sectors.
  • Experience selling software solutions, ideally within industrial automation, operations, or data analytics environments.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to understand customer operational challenges and translate them into business value.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple organisational levels.
  • Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or reseller networks is advantageous.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for both technical and commercial audiences.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A degree in electrical, industrial, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline is beneficial but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory for customer meetings and industry events.
