Role Description
This full-time, on-site Technical Sales Representative role is based at their facility in Greater Manchester.
The role involves managing and growing customer accounts, responding to enquiries, and providing technically accurate advice on fasteners, threadforms, and material options.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotations, processing orders, and following up on leads to convert opportunities into sales.
The Technical Sales Representative will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to ensure feasibility, lead times, and quality requirements are clearly communicated.
The role also includes delivering product training and support to customers, maintaining detailed records in the CRM system, and contributing to continuous improvement in customer service and sales processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to understand and explain industrial fasteners and threadforms.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build relationships and manage customer requirements effectively.
- Experience providing Training or product guidance to customers or internal teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications; prior experience in manufacturing or engineering is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced industrial environment, with good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with basic office software and CRM systems for quotations, order entry, and account management.
- Relevant qualification or experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical sales is desirable.
