Regional Sales Manager – Rotating Machinery
Home based (remote, Covering the Midlands)
The company is a leading supplier of pumps and services to the power generation, chemical, process, and utilities sectors across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical understanding of pumps and fluid handling systems, combined with a passion for sales and customer service.
The Role:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers across your region.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients, identifying solutions that meet their application needs.
- Follow up on quotes, proposals, and tenders.
- Work closely with the internal sales and engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage your own diary and territory – this is a home-based role with regular customer site visits.
Experience
- Experience within the pump industry or a related technical field (e.g., pumps, valves, compressors, motors, gearboxes, etc.).
- Strong technical background – mechanical engineering qualifications (or related experience) would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
- Proven track record of generating sales and new business.
- Proactive and hungry to be successful.
