As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in streamlining our procurement and production operations. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain an effective purchasing system that supports smooth production processes and ensures timely supply of materials and services. You will work closely with our Sales Office and Production Teams, managing relationships with PSL Major Suppliers, and handling general and ad‑hoc purchasing needs across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient purchasing processes and systems to streamline operations.
- Manage purchasing activities across production and general business functions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Preferred Supplier List (PSL) partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Production, Operations) to forecast and plan purchasing needs.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure best value and service levels.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Oversee stock control and procurement reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing and production workflow.
About You
- Proven experience in a Purchasing Manager or senior procurement role.
- Strong understanding of production and operational purchasing.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively across departments.
- Experience in implementing purchasing systems or process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years' purchasing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
