Position Overview: My clients operate through distributors, large end users, OEMs, and gas company key accounts. The role of the Industrial Sales Associate is to lead the development and execution of the industrial channel strategy within the assigned region, driving sales growth particularly through the distribution channel while also identifying opportunities through other sales channels.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the distributor footprint, including identifying and addressing white and weak spots, and ensuring an appropriate mix of distributors (Welding Dependent, General Industrial, Do It Yourself).
- Manage the structured distributor partner programmes in line with regional frameworks.
- Establish and follow up budget and growth plans with key accounts, large end users, OEMs, and partner distributors.
- Attract and onboard new distributors, large end users, and OEMs.
- Work in cooperation with Product Managers, Marketing, and Internal Sales teams.
- Manage distributor training, marketing, and communication programmes.
- Ensure my clients’ products are well represented at distributors, both in-store and online.
- Define and execute distributor campaigns and promotions.
- Network with distributor development stakeholders across regions and contribute to common standard practices and commercial tools.
- Follow all commercial standard work in the sales area, including use of CRM, growth plans, and contract management.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical / Engineering or Business degree, further or higher education level.
- 5+ years commercial work experience including selling industrial products through the distributor channel.
- Demonstrated track record of business development and sales growth.
- Experience within relevant industrial sectors.
- Used to working in cross-functional sales teams.
- Experience within a multi-national organisation.
- Mobility & Travel | Valid driver’s licence.
