Role Overview

  • Support design and delivery of control system software solutions
  • Work with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
  • Deliver tasks to agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards
  • Contribute to process improvement and engineering best practice
  • Operate within safety, quality, and environmental frameworks

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute allocated software engineering activities across projects
  • Support system and software design from concept to handover
  • Work within multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Prepare and review technical documentation and tenders
  • Provide technical support to internal teams (engineering, delivery, sales)
  • Monitor and report on engineering progress
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Support planning and coordination of engineering resources
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders

Requirements – Experience & Knowledge

  • Degree or HNC in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a project-based engineering or software role
  • Experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
  • Familiarity with ISO quality and safety standards
  • Experience delivering to customer requirements
