Junior Sales Engineer / West Yorkshire & North West

We're recruiting a Junior Sales Engineer for a business at the forefront of the Automation and Energy Management industries.

Summary

The Junior Sales Engineer will assist in generating new customers and retaining existing customers. Guidance and mentoring will be provided by the National Account Manager and Head of Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Visiting existing customers and partners to retain and generate business, including; distributors, panel builders, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), system integrators, and end-users.
  • Gain technical knowledge of products, competitive markets, and customers.
  • Work closely with the National Account Manager, Head of Sales, Internal Sales Team, and Technical Managers.
  • Maintain timely and accurate monthly reports, including; sales reports, expense reports, and any additional admin required in accordance with policies, procedures, and audit guidelines.
  • Recording activity, customer information, and sale opportunities on the company CRM.
  • Answer telephone calls and greet customers and contractors as per company policies and procedures.
  • Be compliant with the Data Protection Legislation, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
