Our client is a leading provider of industrial/enterprise software solutions for the manufacturing sector. They help businesses improve productivity while making work better for employees. Role – Account Director (Large F&B Accounts)

We are looking for a Account Director to manage new business opportunities and lead the full sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. This is a UK-based, remote role with travel of around 30–40% across the EMEA region.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Meet with potential clients to understand their business needs.
  • Research and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Keep up to date with trends in manufacturing, including food & beverage, industrial, hi-tech, automotive, and CPG sectors.
  • Monitor competitors and identify ways to improve sales strategies.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Attend events and training to stay up to date with industry developments.

Qualifications

  • Degree or relevant experience in Manufacturing, Sales, Engineering, or Business Management.
  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B sales within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers and managing multiple priorities.
  • Willing to travel up to 30–40% of the time.

Package

  • Attractive base salary 6 figures (£200k+ uncapped OTE), car allowance, pension etc
  • Homebased/Remote role
