LOCATION: Liverpool (Hybrid working - 70% home based for experienced candidates, 20% for junior level).

SALARY: ÂŁ40 - 60k+ (depending on experience)

My client is currently looking for 2-3 Control System Engineers to join their team, ranging from Senior to Junior level. This is a brilliant opportunity to join an established business and they are offering a great salary package and also very flexible hybrid working.

The Engineer will be responsible for the software design, integration, testing and commissioning of industrial automation projects throughout the entire project life-cycle.

  • Drive projects to achieve an “on-time” project delivery, within budget.
  • Designing, installing, commissioning, and maintenance of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems in automation projects.
  • Project managing, engineering, configuration, integration, and testing.
  • Design, configure and integrate software, hardware, communications.
  • Prepare project documentation such as design specifications, factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests and operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Participate in project meetings and assist in the scheduling of activities.
  • Undertake FAT, SAT, site installation and commissioning activities where necessary.
  • Develop additional engineering skills and expertise where required to support the capability of the Company.

Proven track record of delivering projects, preferably with SCADA for Automation sectors.

Experience of SQL database development and integration to SCADA.

Knowledge of Scripting Languages for SCADA applications.

Knowledge of Virtual Machines and VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Servers and clients, Configuration of networks, switches, and system ancillaries.

Experience of configuration of PLC logic.

Desirable Personal Qualities: Be willing to travel for site testing and commissioning work when required.
