Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain industrial automation systems. The role focuses on programming and integration of PLC, SCADA, and MES systems to support efficient, reliable, and scalable manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and commission control systems using PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Configure and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes.
- Integrate MES solutions to support production tracking, data collection, and performance optimization.
- Develop and troubleshoot HMI interfaces for operators.
- Perform system testing, validation, and documentation (FAT/SAT).
- Diagnose and resolve control system faults, minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to deliver automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience with PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems (e.g., WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware).
- Experience working with MES platforms and manufacturing data integration.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with system integration and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL) and data analytics.
- Familiarity with robotics or motion control systems.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, food & beverage).
- Project management experience is a plus.
