My client is currently looking for 2-3 Control System Engineers to join their team, ranging from Senior to Junior level. The Role
The Engineer will be responsible for the software design, integration, testing and commissioning of industrial automation projects throughout the entire project life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret clients’ requirements, and design, engineer, integrate, test, and deliver the solution in a professional and timely manner.
- Interface with customers on all technical elements and schedules.
- Define and review specifications documents.
- Drive projects to achieve an “on-time” project delivery, within budget.
- Comply with the procedures and responsibilities of the Company.
Key Elements of the Role
- Designing, installing, commissioning, and maintenance of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems in automation projects.
- Project managing, engineering, configuration, integration, and testing.
- Design, configure and Integrate software, hardware, communications.
- Prepare project documentation such as design specifications, factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests and operation and maintenance manuals.
- Participate in project meetings and assist in the scheduling of activities.
- Undertake FAT, SAT, site installation and commissioning activities where necessary.
- Develop additional engineering skills and expertise where required to support the capability of the Company.
Ideal skills required for the Role
- Proven track record of delivering projects, preferably with SCADA for Automation sectors.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems such as Siemens WinCC 7, Siemens WinCC Unified, Aveva Intouch, Aveva system Platform, Schneider Citect, Rockwell Factory Talk, IFIX.
- Experience of SQL database development and integration to SCADA.
- Knowledge of Scripting Languages for SCADA applications: JavaScript, VBScript.
- Knowledge of Virtual Machines and VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Servers and clients.
- IT Knowledge: Configuration of networks, switches, and system ancillaries.
- Advantageous to have a background with IT systems.
- Experience of configuration of PLC logic. (Siemens and Rockwell)

- Self-motivated to take ownership of issues and tasks and deliver with minimum support.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills.
