The Job Role
In this role, you will process and engineer all new sales orders effectively, ensuring targets are achieved and maintained, and customer quality requirements are fully met. You will also be responsible for the creation of ITP’s / MPS’s for customer-specific requirements. This role contributes to the operational effectiveness and strategic objectives of the company, while acting in alignment with the company values of Safety, Team Work, Accountability, Respect, and Trust (START).
Key Responsibilities
- Process new sales orders, ensuring routings selected are economical and fully compliant with customer requirements.
- Review specifications and drawings, providing technical support and assistance to internal departments where needed.
- Create ITP’s / MPS’s based on customer requirements, ensuring all technical and quality standards are met.
- Work closely with Production Planning to ensure the best route is chosen in line with the business’s current capacity and capabilities.
- Manage and respond to customer queries of a technical nature, where support is needed.
- Perform contract reviews of sales orders and routings.
- Work with suppliers and procure raw material and finished goods to meet customer demand.

- Quality – All customer requirements are met in full, 100% of the time.
- Cost – Best practice is applied across all planned routings to ensure the most efficient methods are used.
- Delivery – All orders are processed in a timely manner, ensuring maximum time is given to production and company OTD targets are fully met.
